Kirk Reisner has spent nearly three decades in the insurance industry, on both sides of the business. He holds a B.S. in Insurance and Risk Management from Missouri State University and began his career in 1998 as a claims adjuster with American National Property and Casualty (ANPAC). Kirk earned the Associate in Claims (AIC) designation in 1998. He has been a licensed Missouri insurance producer since October 2000 (NPN: 3471050) and moved into the agent role with ANPAC in 2001. In 2006, he opened his own independent agency, Advisor Insurance Agency. Joining Valley Insurance Agency Alliance (VIAA) right away, he was their first scratch agent. In 2021 Kirk and Brandon Thompson merged 2 agencies, Advisor Insurance Agency and Millennium Brokers to form Millennium Broekrs Group LLC. Today he serves clients through MBG Insurance, an independent agency with offices in Springfield and Oak Grove, Missouri, and Bentonville, Arkansas.
Kirk specializes in commercial insurance for small and mid-sized Missouri businesses. MBG Insurance is licensed as an agency in Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas, and Texas. His day-to-day work covers business owners policies, commercial package policies, workers' compensation, commercial auto, umbrella coverage, and specialty risks including contractors, tree care professionals, and lessor's risk properties. The claims background gives him an unusual edge as an agent: he knows how policy language actually gets applied when a loss happens, which shapes how he builds coverage on the front end. He has particular depth in the mechanics that trip up business owners most often: additional insured endorsements, certificate of insurance requirements, workers' comp classification codes, and policy form differences between carriers.
As an independent agent, Kirk represents more than twenty admitted carriers. Some of the carriers include Auto-Owners, Cincinnati, Travelers, Liberty Mutual, The Hartford, and Nationwide. Multiple carriers allow him match each client's risk to the carrier with the right appetite and pricing rather than forcing every risk into one company's box.
Kirk is also a licensed Missouri real estate agent (license #2004020545, since 2016) with Century 21 Performance Realty in Willard, Missouri. This experience deepens his perspective on property valuation, lessor's risk, and commercial building coverage.
Beyond the agency, Kirk has been a member of Springfield Sertoma for 10 years, where he has served on the board and as Wingapalooza Restaurant Chair. The club raises roughly $300,000 each year for children's charities in the Springfield area, and MBG team members regularly volunteer at Sertoma events including the Wine Walk, Chili Cook-off, and Wingapalooza.
