Silver Dollar City

Nestled in the Heart of the Ozarks is Silver Dollar City. The park is an 1880’s themed family friendly vacation hot spot because of its wide variety of attractions and events put on throughout the year. Silver Dollar City first opened in May of 1960. Originally the park was opened by the Herschend Family. In its first year in business it drew in a little more than 125,000 visitors.  While park goers enjoyed a mostly inexpensive experience, in 1968 admission began being charged for admission to the park. This change has enabled Silver Dollar City to experience incredible growth.

Today the park has over 40 rides and attractions it has something for everyone. Furthermore Marvel Cave is still operating and open for daily tour. Due to its popularity, the park has been aired on many famous shows like the Beverly Hillbillies. Silver Dollar City is a must visit location in the Ozarks. White Water

Just south of Springfield, Missouri is a 13 acre water park called White Water.  The park was originally opened in 1980. It is in Branson, Missouri and open from May to September  It features everything from a wave pool to many thrilling water slides. In 2007, White water opened Kalani Towers, a 300 foot long high speed water attraction. Do you have Young Children? White Water has a Children’s play area with many life guards. The park has something for every age. Whether you just want to relax or enjoy some thrills, White Water is a must visit attraction in the summer.

Show Boat Branson Belle

Located on the famous Table Rock Lake, Show Boat Branson Belle is a staple for any visitor of Branson. This majestic show boat is themed after  steam boats of the 1800’s. For the cost of a ticket, passengers enjoy a three course meal, a show and a 2 hour cruse across Table Rock Lake.

Fantastic Caverns

Located in Springfield, Missouri is a show cave called Fantastic Caverns. Most Noteworthy the cave is known as being the only North American cave to have a completely ride-through tour. The average tour lasts 20-30 minutes and is held in a Jeep drawn tram behind an ancient underground river. As a result, the cave is accessible to many more visitors.

Discovered in 1862 by John Knox. John held on to his knowledge of the cave because he didn’t want the cave harmed or explored by Civil War Soldiers. Consequently the Cave wasn’t first explored until he ran an article in the paper in 1867. The temperature inside of Fantastic Cavers is 60 degrees year round. The cave hosts almost 100,000 visitors each year. As a result of its rich history, it is an educational visiting place for many local school districts.
